The clients came to us with strong environmental values and a desire for their home to last more than a life time. They chose a passive house design approach to implement the goals they had in mind: airtight construction, low energy consumption. and healthy indoor spaces. At first impression, the Fremont house has a traditional aesthetic which responds to the character of the neighborhood, but the careful high performance detailing and energy efficient systems make this home unique.
